Andong Church’s Immigrant Ministry

1. Mission Statement (사명선언)

Andong Church's immigrant ministry exists to help immigrants living in Andong City get to experience Jesus Christ personally, receive salvation by believing Jesus Christ as Lord, and reveal the glory of God.

(안동교회 이주민 사역은 안동시에 거주하는 이주민이 예수 그리스도를 개인적으로 체험하고, 예수 그리스도를 주님으로 믿어 구원을 받아 하나님의 영광을 드러내도록 돕기 위해 존재합니다.)

2. Our Beliefs (우리의 믿음)

We believe in the Apostle's Creed. We believe that the Bible is entirely true and the only source of faith. We believe that the Gospel is truly good news and makes the Christian faith fundamentally different than any other faith. Jesus’ life and death has saved me from the penalty of my sin. Jesus’ resurrection and ascension continues to rescue me from the power of my sin. Jesus’ return will one day deliver me from the presence of all sin. All of this is pure gift - without my merit or ability to repay God. We believe that the Gospel motivates us to live in ways that please God.

We are enthusiastically sacramental. God names us in Baptism and comforts us with His presence and forgiveness in Holy Communion.

(우리는 사도신경을 믿습니다. 우리는 성경이 전적으로 사실이며 믿음의 유일한 원천이라고 믿습니다. 우리는 복음이 참으로 좋은 소식이며 기독교 신앙을 다른 신앙과 근본적으로 다르게 만든다고 믿습니다. 예수님의 삶과 죽음은 나를 죄의 형벌에서 구원해 주었습니다. 예수님의 부활과 승천은 계속해서 나를 죄의 권세에서 구원해 줍니다. 예수님의 재림은 언젠가 나를 모든 죄에서 구원하실 것입니다. 이 모든 것은 하나님께 보답할 나의 공로나 능력이 없는 순수한 선물입니다. 우리는 복음이 우리가 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 방식으로 살도록 동기를 부여한다고 믿습니다. 우리는 열정적으로 성찬을 행합니다. 하나님은 세례를 통해 우리의 이름을 부르시고, 성찬식을 통해 그분의 임재와 용서로 우리를 위로하십니다.)

3. Vision

Church where all nations worship God (모든 민족이 하나님께 예배하는 교회)

Church that heals wounded immigrant families (상처입은 이주민 가족을 치유하는 교회)

Church that builds the next generation of immigrants (이주민 다음 세대를 세우는 교회)

4. Service time : 12:00 ~ 1:00 pm Sunday, place : Andong Church Chapel
(예배시간: 주일오후 12:00 ~ 1:00, 장소: 안동예배당)

Small Group Fellowship : 1:30 ~ 2:30 pm Sunday
(소그룹 모임: 주일오후 1:30 ~ 2:30)

Place: 4rd floor of Centennial Memorial Hall at Andong Church
